Last year, Coventry achieved the highest ever position in our league table by a post-1992 university, and it remains comfortably ahead of its peer group once again, as well as some dozen older foundations. It is The Times and The Sunday Times Modern University of the Year for the third successive year.
Coventry's rise has been spectacular: 10 years ago it was almost 50 places lower and only 12 off the bottom of the table. Much of its success is due to student satisfaction ratings that are once again the best when both our teaching quality and student experience measures are taken into account, but it has shown ambition in a number of areas.
