University of Sheffield

University of Sheffield Good University Guide

Sheffield has taken almost 1,000 additional undergraduates in the last two years, bringing the intake to record levels.

The university’s growing popularity may be due partly to consistently good ratings from its own students.

It was again in the top three in Times Higher Education magazine’s 2015 student experience survey, when the university was voted the best in the UK for social life and accommodation, as well as for its students’ union, which has been the most popular in the National Student Survey (NSS) in every year that unions have been assessed.
