Hi,

I have a BA Hons in European Business Law from University of Abertay Dundee. Furthermore, I am going to finish an MA in Law in Hungary. When I finish in Hungary I became a Juris Doctor. After the graduation I have to fullfil 3 years pupilage next to the qualified lawyer and I have to pass a BVC.

I have been living in London for almost 2 years and I really would like to build my career in this city. But, the real problem is: my MA degree is rubbish outside Hungary!!!!
What can I do? Do I have ANY chance to get a proper job? If yes: HOW???

Would you so kind to give some information about my opportunities or just recommend something for me!

Hi Dalma,

That's not a problem. I would consider applying anyway and seeing what happens. Typically, firms have conversion tables that show what a degree is worth from different countries. You definitely aren't the first person to have this problem.

One place that might worth asking the same question would be the WikiJob.co.uk forums http://www.wikijob.co.uk/forum /legal-law-firms - there's a lot of people with the same situation.
