Perhaps you want to be an Engineer or Technologist. TV, Radio the Internet is a Science…fact! Without the creative innovations developed by leading Engineers of years gone by we wouldn’t have TV & Radio. Broadcasting is an industry that is varied from the creation of TV programmes like Doctor Who, Eastenders and live shows such as The Voice, BBC Proms and not to mention Glastonbury. There is also our regional and international output across TV and Radio services such as BBC Cymru Wales to our Latin American BBC Mundo services that are both broadcast by traditional means as well as over the internet.
The BBC enriches the lives of some 308 Million people across the world. This isn’t just any Engineering job. Engineering at the BBC is very special and the work that you can contribute to will have a human impact.
Since 2013 the BBC has been leading this scheme to deliver the best Engineering Talent into the BBC as well as across the UK Media Industry.
