Here's a summary of the process we go through at Milkround Online Ltd when hiring a new team member.

PROCESS
A JOB ARISES
We'll place an advert on Milkround and / or Second Post, applications come flooding in and are short-listed by the relevant people here at Milkround Online such as the line managers / team members of the department or team with an available job.

INTERVIEW & ASSESSMENT
If your application is what we're looking for, you'll be invited to one or more of the following stages depending on what sort of role you've applied for:

TELEPHONE INTERVIEW
This will usually be with the line manager of the vacant position. It's more of a general chat to find out a bit more about you (and for you to find out more about us) than a formal interview.

FACE-TO-FACE INTERVIEW
This will be in the Milkround Online office, giving you a chance to check out our working environment and see if it suits you. Normally this interview will be with your potential line manager and another senior manager, and will be a more in-depth evaluation of your experience, skills and motivation for applying.

ASSESSMENT
This is a chance for us to assess the skills you will need day-to-day in the role you've applied for. You might have to prepare something in advance (you'll have been told about this with plenty of notice). Just as importantly, it'll be a chance for you to meet yet more members of the Milkround Online team across a range of positions, get a feeling for what we are like, and to ask us any questions you may have: we want you to want to work here, as well as just wanting the job.
