GE is active in financial services in the UK. GE Capital employs over 3,000 people and provides a range of business finance services to UK businesses. Our financial business offers an array of products and services aimed at enabling commercial businesses, consumers, and markets worldwide to build a stronger, better future. GE's Oil and Gas pipeline solutions business inspects more than 104,000 miles of pipeline worldwide each year in over 80 countries, and employs more than 2,000 people in four main locations. The VetcoGray business of GE Oil and Gas, based in Aberdeen, manufactures products and provides services for oil and gas exploration and production.
