Gleacher Shacklock is a privately owned investment banking organisation, established in 2000. We specialise in offering our clients the highest quality independent advice on a broad range of corporate finance assignments:
• Mergers & Acquisitions
• Restructurings and debt advisory
• General financial and strategic issues
• Capital markets transactions
We work with major corporations and the private equity community to offer outstanding advice through our highly regarded industry specialists. All of our partners have held prominent positions at leading global investment banks and our success is built on the strength of all the bankers within our organisation. As a smaller investment bank we offer our clients the highest level of senior commitment and focus in the industry. We do not provide financing products, distribute securities or publish research - and are therefore entirely focused on providing the most objective advice to our clients.

Gleacher Shacklock is one of the few world-class advisory firms combining bulge-bracket investment banking expertise with the benefits of an independent, entrepreneurial culture. This combination of quality and focus creates a tremendous opportunity for junior professionals.
Our business style is to be inclusive of junior employees, giving them constant and direct exposure to senior and experienced professionals that would not be possible at a larger firm. This exposure provides extremely broad transaction experience across industries and disciplines and every junior banker is expected to make an impact in addressing the most complex and challenging situations for our clients.
Gleacher Shacklock has an active and continuing graduate recruitment programme. Each year, we look to make offers to a small number of the brightest and best undergraduates to join the firm as Analysts. Each year we offer a small number of undergraduate internship positions - these provide the opportunity to work as a junior member of the firm for six to eight weeks during July, August or September. Typically, we look to identify potential graduate recruits from those who undertake summer internships.
