Just like the graduates on our team, Mouchel is ambitious and growing fast. In fact, we’ve doubled in size over the past five years, and we don’t intend to slow down any time soon. Today we have 11,000 talented people across the country, providing business and consulting services to clients in a whole range of different industries.

If our name is new to you, that’s because many of our projects happen behind the scenes of everyday life. We work with organisations in the private, public and regulated sectors – helping to improve essential services like railways, water, education, roads and energy. Whatever we do, our focus is always on quality and innovation: making things smarter, more cost-effective, and more useful for the customers who rely on them.

Because the scope of our services is so wide, you’ll find experts from an amazing variety of disciplines on our teams: everything from engineers and designers, to consultants, managers and technologists.

The Programme

Our Academy development programme will give you the best possible start to your career. Lasting 18 months, it’s designed to help you get up-to-speed as quickly as possible. You’ll also be equipped with the transferable skills you need to perform your role – and move forward in your career.

Throughout the programme you’ll have all the support you could need – from your line manager, from the colleagues in your teams, and from other graduates within the Academy. However, to really make the most of the programme, you’ll need to take personal responsibility for your own development. It will be up to you to seek out opportunities and capitalise on them.

In addition to the Academy, you’ll benefit from high-quality technical training on the job. Expect to be given hands-on experience and real responsibility on a wide range of projects, as well as the opportunity to study for professional qualifications.

Our roles 

We have opportunities for engineering graduates in hands-on technical positions as well as roles which focus more on project management. We’re particularly interested in hearing from: Civil and Structural Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Transport Planners, Geotechnical Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Mechanical Engineers, and Environmental Engineers.
