ACHIEVING THE ACA QUALIFICATION
The ACA is a unique balance of academic study and on-the-job training providing you with a depth and range of finance and business skills that other qualifications can only aspire to.
To qualify as a chartered accountant, students must complete a training contract with an ICAEW authorised training organisation. There are more than 4,000 vacancies available in training offices of all sizes throughout the world.
Training organisations will generally expect students entering by this route to possess:
- a proven academic track record
- a degree or higher from a UK university (or equivalent) with a 2:1 degree classification (equivalent) or higher
- 280 plus UCAS tariff score (or equivalent).
