Hi there,

Luckily i have an offer for a grad scheme, but it is only a year long (although it is at an investment bank) . Does anyone have any opinions on whether a year is too short to be worth while, or do you think there is a good chance it gets extended etc?

A year is more than enough time for a graduate scheme, you will be itching to get away from the graduate scheme come a year later, and any longer might not challenge you/help you grow.

Although I suppose it depends how much experience you have in the area- if it's none you may feel you need longer.
