My brother is starting uni next week and is having problems getting his student loans (they havent procesed his application!) and is worried he wont have money as he was going to pay his tuition fees with the.  Is anybody else having this problem?  What else can he do, is there any other opportunities to get student aid to help?

The Student Loans were always fine with me, I never experienced any problems. I hope your brother had the problem sorted out and that he had the money when he started term!
