How important is work-life balance to you? It is VERY important to me. I don't want to work past my hours, some may say that's being lazy but I say it's what's in my contract and I want to enjoy my life as much as possible. Unless I am snowed under, I want to leave on time and enjoy the free time that I have - after all, you only live once!

If there is something I am working on or the office is short staffed I have no problem working over-time or putting a bit extra in every now and then. But I wouldn't do that all the time and sometimes I will leave dot on 5 in order to go somewhere etc...

As the title said it ia a balance and sometimes one may take a greater priority.

I often stay a little later after work, mainly if i have a lot to do. I figure i would rather stay a little later one day to lessen the load over the next dew days. However, it is vital that i have time to myself aswell. A lot of people at the office pull 12 hour days many days of the week, then complain about it! I say it depends on the work load, and your other commitments.
