Come On Come On!

I am currently trying to research a company for whom I have an interview next Wednesday. Their website appears to be restricted access, needing a password to access areas of it. Also upon doing a google search, I have found very little information about the company. How specific do examples need to be in an interview when trying to state reasons I believe the company to be the one for me. I normally prepare little facts that back up my application but I can't find them currently.

Hmmm, well in this case maybe you'll have to be more general. You can explain why you want to work in that industry for a start. How did you find out about the company and what first attracted you to it? Maybe the answers to those questions will help you in describing what made you apply in the first place.

Maybe it's something even worth bringing up in the interview - that way they know you have visited their site and have been looking at what they do. Or maybe you could even ask some questions about the company as long as it doesn't make you sound clueless! Intelligent questions show that you are really thinking about the company and that you're interested in what they have to offer.
