What sort of things do you do in your spare time that you think will contribute toward your getting a good job? It can be useful to exchange ideas as you may discover something you want to have a go at yourself!

I run my own website/forum that is pretty successful and lively. I have done so for many years now so it's been a real effort to keep it going! I also draw a lot of artwork and do creative writing.

I don't think it necessarily helps toward the job hunt but I have a professional Scuba Diving qualification. It really lets me express myself and I am proud to have achieved this. I think that it does demonstrate my determination toward a goal and shows that I have a wide range of interests that might not perhaps be something everybody does (cue the usual: go to the cinema!)
