The role of a Medical Representative
The aim of a medical representative is to liaise with healthcare professionals in order to promote, sell and increase the market share of their company’s pharmaceutical or healthcare portfolio of products. Activities of a medical sales representative will include presenting on a one to one or group basis to GP’s, Practice Staff, Hospital Doctor’s, Nurses and Pharmacists.
Candidates should be self motivated, well organised, excellent communicators, able to demonstrate tenacity and a drive for results.
Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Companies recognise the need for a high level of training in order to achieve the quality standard of representation required.
