Graduate Design Manager
We’re recruiting enthusiastic, collaborative and forward-thinking graduates who are ready to start their career in design management. If you have at least a 2:1 degree in AEDM or civil engineering – or you’re in your final year and on track to achieve one – we want to hear from you.
As a Graduate Design Manager with Kier you’ll be involved in working collaboratively with the Kier tender and/or project teams, clients, designers employed by the contractor, specialist and other subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant third parties. The responsibilities will include liaising with designers, reviewing designs, making site visits and inspections, and preparing briefs for investigations, surveys and monitoring.

As well as the ability to work effectively as a member of project and tender teams, you’ll need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and to be able to develop strong client relationships. We want to work with people who are proactive, and very keen to develop their career in the industry. Experience in a civil engineering or building environment will also give you an edge.
