We are looking for a number of Graduate Quantity Surveyors across our London Projects. You will assist the senior QS with the financial control of the project, you will be involved tender enquiries [NECs Plus contracts]. You will also perform analysis of quotations and subcontractor procurement and have overall responsibility for several smaller accounts, enabling you to develop your financial skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the achievement of Health and Safety in accordance with company policy.
  • London Projects Based
  • To assist in the management of the day to day bill of quantities for the relevant sections of allocated projects to ensure financial efficiencies
  • To provide advice and guidance to managers on achieving value for money
  • Analysis of subcontractor valuations
  • To be absolutely focused on cost control in all aspects of activity in line with the business financial systems
  • To liaise with the procurement teams as required to ensure compliance with financial parameters
  • Assist in the production and monitoring of Applications/Final Accounts
  • Check agreed sub-contract Applications/Accounts
  • Contribute to the achievement of Health and Safety in accordance with company policy
  • To promote company values in all dealing with other employees, clients, subcontractors and other external contacts.

Key Skills:

  • Studied a Quantity Surveying Degree, 2:1 class degree minimum
  • Good command of English language
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and QS software packages

Qualifications:

  • Studied a Quantity Surveying Degree, 2:1 class degree minimum
  • Experience (Internships/Placement year) in a commercial department [Desirable not essential]

  • Right to work in the UK & Ireland
