Leadership Development Programme 2017
Are you looking for a graduate career with a difference? Do you want to make a positive impact on society and transform the lives of vulnerable children? Do you want to develop your leadership skills? Then Frontline is for you.
This year we’re expanding into new regions across the UK and recruiting 300 outstanding individuals onto our prestigious two-year Leadership Development Programme. We offer you the opportunity to join one of Britain’s most challenging, and most rewarding, professions; children and families social work.
With Frontline you’ll help to transform the lives of vulnerable children and families, whilst developing a range of invaluable transferable skills in leadership, conflict resolution and relationship building. Your skills and experiences on the programme will open the doors to a wide range of social impact careers after Frontline, inside social work and beyond.
Year 1- You’ll earn as you learn, working with 3 other Frontline participants in a local authority child protection team in either Greater London and the South East, North East, North West and the Midlands. You’ll benefit from world class teaching, and be supported by an experienced Consultant Social Worker through 210 days of on-the-job training- more than any other route into the profession.
Year 2- You’ll be a Qualified Social Worker, employed by your local authority. In this year, you will be studying towards a fully funded Masters and Frontline will be supporting you through our tailored leadership training.
We are looking for outstanding individuals; people who have a commitment to supporting children and families, are competent at working with people and who have the ability to lead with sound judgement.
In order to be eligible for our programme you will need to have all of the following:
- A 2:1 or higher in your first undergraduate degree (predicted or obtained)
- Grade C or above in Maths and English GCSE - applicants must also demonstrate competence in IT as well as spoken and written English
- We expect candidates to have at least BBB (or ABC) in their top 3 A-levels (or equivalent pre-university grades) – excluding General Studies and any additional AS-levels.*
