Purpose of the role

Working within the Business Development & Recruitment department, the main purpose of the role is to source and manage apprenticeship vacancies including the initial meeting with the client, advertising of the vacancy, short listing and interviewing and induction.

You will also be expected to manage the placement of a successful candidate throughout the full 12 month apprenticeship; this will include regular contact with both the Client & Apprentice via phone & face to face meetings.

Key Role Responsibilities:

Source & Identify potential Apprentice opportunities
Arrange meetings to meet client & take job description
Advertise job roles on various sites, including Apprenticeship sites & JCP
Identify & match applicants to vacancies
Interview potential candidates at various locations throughout Yorkshire
Short list from interview
Format & send over short listed CV's to client
Arrange interviews with client & apprentice, including apprentice interview prep & feedback
Set up enrolment & start dates
Regular contact with placed apprentices & clients including telephone& face to face visits
Admin duties to include, job descriptions & adverts, apprentice profiles and general administration.
Provide effective IAG service to both internal and external customer/ clients

Qualifications and other requirements
A good standard of general education.
GCSE Grade C or Equivalent in English.
Full driving license and ability to travel essential
