Finance Graduate Programme
On our finance programme you’ll play a key role in driving Royal Mail’s performance, supporting teams throughout the business to deliver value wherever possible.
About the programme
Four separate placements over three-and-a-half years will show you the breadth of our business – from investment appraisal and treasury to performance management, and operational and regional finance. Putting your strong analytical and numerical skills to work, you’ll discover the dynamic commercial environment behind Royal Mail and pick up all the decision-making skills you’ll need to progress into more senior roles. And you won’t be short of practical support or structured leadership training along the way.
What we’re looking for >
Strong analytical and numerate are essential, along with the skills to thrive in a dynamic commercial environment. You need to be driven, proactive and persuasive and have the people skills to work successfully with even the most senior of decision-makers. Whether you’re collaborating with colleagues or helping to deliver our financial strategy – much will hinge on your confidence as a communicator.
Graduates are expected to relocate throughout the programme, so you’ll need the right to work full time in the UK.

- £26,000 basic salary plus benefits
- Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) professional qualification sponsorship
- Minimum 2:1 degree in any subject
- Locations nationwide – graduates are expected to relocate throughout the programme
