Human Resources Graduate Programme

United Kingdom
£26,000 + benefits
04 Oct 2016
04 Jan 2017

The scale and scope of our FTSE 100 organisation translates into diverse HR challenges and opportunities. It could mean developing our relationship with the unions or making sure we have the right senior level capability to lead the business into the future. You’ll be involved in key projects from the start, helping us to drive forward positive change, colleague engagement and world-class service. Whether you want to pursue a career as a specialist or a generalist, our HR programme will give you a firm foundation.

About the programme >

Rotating through placements in either our central HR function or one of our regional centres, you’ll see the scale of our business and the reach of HR first-hand. Once you've got to grips with the pace of change in the business, you’ll start working towards your Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) qualification. And although we’ll expect you to use your initiative and manage your own development, you’ll benefit from the guidance and support you’ll need to build a successful HR career at the top of our business.

What we’re looking for >

We look for a minimum 2:1 degree in any subject, but a Masters’ degree in an HR related discipline would be a definite advantage. Most importantly however, you should bring commercial acumen, plenty of ambition and strong interpersonal skills.

Our graduates are expected to relocate throughout the programme so you’ll need the right to work in the UK.
