About the programme
Where does Sky’s future growth come from? How should we work with global tech giants? What products and technologies should we be investing in?
In such a fast-changing marketplace, these are some of the big questions that we need to answer to keep hold of our industry-leading position. The Group Strategy team work closely with our CEO and other senior executives, playing a central role in shaping our strategic direction across Europe.
You’ll be working on projects which involve things such as:
- Developing Sky’s customer proposition
- Investment in channels and content
- Assessment of growth opportunities in new markets
- Assessment of new technologies and the opportunities they offer
- Competitor analysis
- Delivery of transformational projects and initiatives
How does the programme work?
Developing core strategy skills in structured thinking and analysis, research, financial modelling, you’ll spend a year working in each of the three teams that make up Group Strategy:
- Strategic Planning Group: (SPG)
- Business Development and Strategic Partnerships (BDST)
- Planning Strategy & Implementation (PSI)

What we look for
This is a programme aimed at logical and analytical thinkers, with outstanding presentation, negotiation, communication and IT skills. You’ll either have, or be on track to complete, a 2:1 degree in any discipline.
