RBS International (RBSI) – Relationship Management
We offer our graduates a career, rather than just a job, supporting them in reaching their potential in a fast paced and continually changing environment. And we understand how a diverse community and fresh ideas, skills and insights can help us build a better bank. So why not apply for a graduate programme with us?
RBS International is a bank within a bank, offering a complete banking service in many of the world’s premier off shore markets. Our services range from personal banking for local customers, to corporate and commercial banking, and personal and private banking for international clients.
Our Relationship Management programme will put you at the heart of our customer facing businesses, with rotations in our three franchises: Personal and Business Banking, Private Banking and Corporate and Markets.
What you can expect
You’ll have exposure across a range of fast paced projects and initiatives designed to have a direct impact on our customers. You’ll have early responsibility, and we’ll look to your enthusiasm and talent to make an impact.
Your rotations will give you an understanding of our customer businesses which is both thorough and broad, seeing first hand how our businesses work together to serve our customers. You’ll work with talented people who will support you with training, coaching and development, and you’ll be mentoring by senior people in our business, allowing you to deepen your skill set.
At the end of the programme you’ll graduate into a permanent team and role in one of our businesses, using the knowledge and skills you’ve developed to deliver excellence for our customers.
Who we’re looking for
A good degree is only the beginning. We look for motivation, because we know if you’re passionate about your work and serving our customers, you’ll be better placed to succeed. We want you to be curious, flexible, resilient, creative and commercially aware. You should be naturally engaging and inspired by the opportunity to bring out the best in those around you.
We need people who will engage with colleagues across our business and create effective relationships both internally and externally, so we’ll be looking for boldness, and the ability to put others at ease. You should be analytical, with an eye for spotting opportunities to make things better. And you’ll need an inner determination which spreads to those around you, motivating you all to be the best you can be.
We welcome applications from all degree backgrounds, but you will need a minimum 2:1. You don’t need any specific UCAS points for this programme.
Due to local legislation, you'll need to be registered as 'Entitled' or 'Entitled to work' residential status to undertake this role.
