Corporate Affairs

The Corporate Responsibility team works with stakeholders, both internally and externally, to communicate our business strategy and progress, ultimately demonstrating transparency in our actions for our customers, colleagues and stakeholders.

What you’ll do

You’ll work within the Corporate Responsibility team alongside the Senior Corporate Responsibility (CR) Executive. You’ll be responsible for managing the implementation and delivery of the CR programme whilst ensuring continual improvement of the CR activities.

Key responsibilities of the Corporate Responsibility Team include:

•          Treating our Customers Fairly Statements

•          Public commitments

•          Management of our charity partnerships

•          Management of our education programmes

•          Communication of CR themes

•          UK input into Group Corporate Sustainability report

•          Winning new business – sustainability tender response support

What we’re looking for

You’ll demonstrate excellent organisation skills with the ability to deliver quality and effective plans to tight deadlines. You’ll communicate effectively and be someone who has the ability to act on your own initiative as well as a part of a team. You’ll possess a pro-active and adaptable attitude to your work, particularly when coping with changing and challenging situations.

The desirable skills or experience we look for: business/commercial acumen along with an interest in sustainability issues. You’ll also have the ability to challenge the accepted ways of doing things in order to move things forward.
