If you want to work in the NHS and believe that you can make a difference, our apprentice training scheme based on work placements in a variety of hospitals, ambulance trusts and commissioning groups within your region, offers outstanding development opportunities which will challenge you and reward you every day.

Trainees will work with the teams in the finance departments of both commissioning and provider organisations and will gain experience in a wide variety of roles, including; financial management, financial services, financial accounting, financial planning and audit. You will be supported in developing the skills you need to develop an exciting career in NHS finance.

After successful completion of the first 2 years, apprentices can choose to apply for a place on the fast track graduate management training scheme, where you will have the opportunity to study for a further 3 years towards a professional accountancy qualification. You will also have the option to leave the scheme to take a full time finance role within the region and develop your career this way. Whichever route you choose, all apprentices are supported in finding suitable jobs within the finance function in their region at the end of the scheme.

Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a numerical and verbal test online

Assessment Centre: Following the online testing, successful candidates will be invited to attend an assessment centre:

South Central = 13th February 2017

West Midlands = 23rd February 2017
