Trainee Analysts – Analyst Development Scheme
The Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) is a Non-Departmental Public Body, funded by farmers and growers which plays a critical role in making the industries we support more competitive and sustainable.
Set within the Market Intelligence Division (AHDB MI), the Analyst Development Scheme provides a structured training and development programme for new entrants to the department.
Trainee analysts will be employed on permanent contracts, but will participate on a programme lasting around 18 months. During this time, trainee analysts will contribute to the work of AHDB MI through work placements within different teams, while undertaking tailored training. At the end of the programme trainees would be guaranteed a flexible B grade analyst role within AHDB, which will work across various teams for varying amounts of time, should they not have been successful in securing a position within the organisation prior to the end of the scheme, subject to meeting minimum standards.
You will hold a degree level qualification in a numerate subject (such as business, economics, maths, science) or agriculture and have an interest in agriculture or the wider food supply chain.
