Tutor - Hospitality

This training provider is looking for an Apprenticeship Tutor to provide teaching, learning and assessment to a variety of learners recruited by them, in numerous locations.

Job responsibilities:

Target meeting:
• Aim for 100% timely programme completions
• A minimum of 35 learners at any one time (pro-rata)
• Ensure that learner administration procedure is adhered to
• Actively seek to recruit new learners in accordance with eligibility requirements
• To support the company in achieving set strategic objectives

Quality Assurance and Improvement:
• Ensure that quality standards are maintained and upheld in regards to:
• Quality of portfolios
• Quality of assessment
• Quality of learner documentation (sign-up process, reviews, completions, e.t.c.)
• Quality of coaching and learning
• Time management (including diary entries, timely completions, timely enrollment)
• Actively support developments and change within the company
• Keep up-to-date with Funding updates and Awarding Body requirements

Communication and Liaison:
• Compiling of accurate monthly progress reports, liaising with the Quality Assurance Leader, for learners and workplaces in their area of responsibility
• Effective and professional communication with all relevant stakeholder

Teamwork and Motivation:
• To actively take part in team activities and projects, training and development
• To share best practice and provide support to other team members

Essential attributes:

• Driver License
• High level of attention to detail
• Experience of working within a hospitality environment
• Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
• Target driven
• Excellent organisational skills
• Effective communicator
• Excellent literacy and numeracy skills (spoken and written)
• Flexible and adaptable
• Full and clean driving licence
• Occupational competence
• Shows honestly and integrity and strong work ethics

Location: Work based role primarily around Bristol and the South West. Travel to Head Office in Surrey required once a month.
