About The Opportunity
We are looking to recruit recent graduates who wish to take their first steps into an IT career by joining the customer services team in the City of London. This team provides services around the Horizon financial, real estate and facility management product. Horizon is a second generation web 2.0 application with great functional depth that is implemented globally by small and large enterprises and delivered through our Cloud or On Premise. Horizon incorporates the following technologies in which full training will be provided if required, C#, Java Script, HTML5, Oracle, SQL Server, SharePoint, XML, SSIS, & SSRS.
What To Expect
The customer services team consists of around 25 consultants with a range of skills ranging from very technical through to business analysis and team leading. We provide services to our customers who are already live with Horizon, which can mean the day-to-day support, developing small changes and enhancements, completing analysis around new requirements raised by customers, and testing the work of others. Projects are formed to upgrade existing customers from one Horizon service pack to another. As the team covers a variety of areas you'll be exposed to all the elements of the software delivery lifecycle. Career progression can take you further down the technical development route, or indeed to explore your analysis skills and provide consultancy and advice to our customers around the world.
The Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for recent graduates, or those who are still studying and looking for their first job, who have or expect a good degree result in IT/Computer Science or similar, or an M.Sc. course in an IT subject. A passion for customer service is necessary, and it’s vital that you have excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to communication both with colleagues and customers.
