Straight talking about opportunities in Advisory at KPMG
At KPMG, we pride ourselves on being experts across Audit, Tax and Pensions, and Advisory. For clients, it means we can provide exceptional service. And for you, it means we’re able to offer exciting graduate opportunities that all come with great training, support and guidance. Join the Advisory area of our business, and you’ll find yourself part of a multi-disciplinary team that’s never been more in demand.
Risk and Compliance
The Risk Consulting service group within our Advisory practice breaks down into several different areas and we offer graduate programmes in each of these.
In Accounting Advisory Services, we provide a broad range of accounting and structuring advice to clients. We do this by understanding their commercial and business needs, and then applying technical accounting skills, project management and IT system knowledge to develop and implement optimal solutions.
Technology is the lifeblood of most organisations, which brings tremendous opportunities as well as considerable threats. Join the specialists within our rapidly expanding, dynamic Technology team, and you’ll provide independent, jargon-free advice and advanced technology capabilities to help clients manage their technology risks and use their data to its full potential.
As part of the team within Financial Services, you’ll work closely with international regulators and major financial institutions to provide clients with value-adding thought leadership, technical and practical skills and knowledge.
In Actuarial, you’ll work alongside experts providing advice to the insurance industry, and help organisations manage financial risk. This involves using detailed analysis of past events to create accurate models of the future, and advising on their financial implications.
In Economics and Regulation, we use economic arguments supported with numbers to build compelling cases for our clients in disputes, in negotiations with regulators, and in discussions with the competition authorities. You’ll be expected to put your economics knowledge to practical use to help our clients, on both projects and proposals, communicating findings that shape our clients’ policies.
Our Forensic team helps clients reduce reputational risk and commercial loss through accounting, investigation, intelligence, technology and industry knowledge. You’ll help us enable clients to prevent and resolve commercial disputes, fraud, misconduct and breaches of rules and regulations.
You can also look forward to a strong commitment to your development and many of the specialist areas within Advisory offer professional training. You’ll need to be naturally ambitious and highly motivated, but we’ll help you to develop the technical and personal skills you need to act as a trusted advisor to our clients.
