1. Overview
Morgan Stanley’s Private Wealth Management (PWM) specialists oversee $100 billion in assets and provide customized services to many of the world’s wealthiest people. PWM is shaped by personal client relationships and the unique and often complex needs of our private clients in locations from Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, to the Asia Pacific region. These businesses have over 750 Advisors and serve high net worth and ultra high net worth wealth management client needs.
2. Placement and Duration
The PWM Summer Analyst Programme runs for ten weeks from June to September. Summer analysts spend five weeks within the Sales teams and then five weeks within Product Groups.
3. Training Program
Summer Analysts complete firmwide core training during their first week, covering a range of subjects, including an introduction to Capital Markets and essential math for finance. Throughout the programme there are divisional training sessions in the form of Learning Lunches.
4. Responsibilities

Supporting sales teams in building and maintaining successful relationships with clients. This will include assisting in marketing and prospecting of business and attending to client queries.
- Creating and updating client presentations and product profiles.
- Preparing daily and weekly market updates.
- Developing investment cases.
5. Qualifications / Skills / Requirements
- We accept penultimate-year students with outstanding academic achievements.
- Applicants of all degree disciplines accepted.
- Applicants should have a keen interest in financial markets.
- We look for applicants who are fluent in English; other languages preferable, but not required.
- Candidates should have strong excel, interpersonal, organizational and client service skills.
6. Interview Process
Selected applicants will be invited to attend an assessment day, which will include one-on-one interviews with experience professionals from the business, verbal and numerical reasoning tests, and group and presentation exercises.
