DAS Accelerate is a chance for four of the brightest, most enthusiastic graduates to trail-blaze their way through the marketing world by spending 16 months on placements across five different communications agencies. One of these four graduates is employed on the Accelerate Health Marketing Scheme – a brilliant opportunity to combine passions for science and communications.
In healthcare it can take up to 8 years to launch a brand, which costs pharmaceutical companies millions and requires the integration of many individuals (from the scientists who develop the initial compound, to the representatives who market the drug to physicians). It demands the support of a wide spectrum of agency expertise and the Health stream will expose you to several of the key disciplines required to make that long journey successful: from understanding the market (what’s it really like for patients on chemotherapy) in order to identify how can the next breast cancer drug can make a real difference to patients’ lives, to building better conversations with patients and physicians that really brings that “difference” to life.
You’ll have a passion for marketing and an eclectic mind that brims with diverse interests and ideas. A natural high-flyer, you’ll hit the ground running, bringing your unique perspective to real client projects, right from the word go.
We’ll hand-pick agencies to suit your skills and support you with a personalised training programme and mentoring programme right the way through. All of this will fast-forward you towards a lasting relationship with one of our exceptional agencies.
You’ll be given more variety, experience and responsibility than on any other grad programme in the industry.
