Deadline: 27 July 2012

We’ve been going since 1890, and today, Allianz is a global leader in insurance and financial services, with more than 150,000 people working in more than 70 countries serving over 75 million customers. We’re also one of the world’s top five asset managers, and our client base, like our talented workforce, is incredibly varied. As well as providing insurance for most of the Fortune 500, we insure everything from high profile concert tours to massive infrastructure projects. Impressive stuff, you’ll agree. This is precisely why we need some very impressive people to join us.

How do we get our diverse portfolio of products out to the UK consumer market? How do we identify new markets and develop products for them? It’s simple: your creative thinking and brilliant ideas. Joining our Sales and Marketing scheme, a two-year journey with three eight-month rotations, you’ll gain firsthand marketing experience while studying towards a relevant professional qualification, through the CII (Chartered Institute of Insurance) or the CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing). You’ll be learning in one of the most supportive, welcoming environments, where your very own line manager and mentor will be there to help every step of the way.

We aim to give you a complete overview of the business – and that’s not limited to the UK either. From B2B to B2C, from brokers to building societies, from analysing our customer base to developing propensity models to increase sales, you’ll have a real impact on the way Allianz does business. In turn, you’ll end up with all the leadership, personal and business awareness skills you could ever desire. We’ll then welcome you onto our wider Talent Management activity.

And on top of paid-for qualifications and a huge support network (including a mentor, line manager and buddy), you’ll enjoy some very impressive benefits. We’ll start you off with a competitive salary, group incentives and a contributory pension scheme. Then, as your career really starts to take off, you’ll receive bonuses and BUPA and insurance discounts. As well as the drive and determination to build a challenging, rewarding career, you’ll need to have a minimum of a 2.1 degree in any discipline and at least 300 UCAS points (scheme dependant) or equivalent.
