We’ve been going since 1890, and today, Allianz is a global leader in insurance and financial services, with more than 150,000 people working in more than 70 countries serving over 75 million customers. We’re also one of the world’s top five asset managersand our client base, like our talented workforce, is incredibly varied.  As well as providing insurance for most of the Fortune 500, we insure everything from high profile concert tours to massive infrastructure projects. Impressive stuff, you’ll agree, and precisely why we need some very impressive people to join us.

The Claims Division is a critical part of Allianz Insurance, accounting for an annual claim spend in excess of £500 million , which means our technical and negotiation skills are incredibly important for the success of the business as a whole. You’ll be working at the heart of our organisation playing an integral part and making an impact right from day one. Our dedicated Claims graduate scheme will give you a thorough understanding of all aspects of the Claims Division, through hands-on experience and industry-leading technical training. You’ll develop your relationship management skills as you interact with our external partners and build the core commercial, leadership and technical skills that are vital to our business. During the two years on the scheme, you’ll have an opportunity to spend time with our claims teams across our Claims Handling Centre network. You can look forward to industry-leading technical training and development supported by our nationally recognised and CII accredited Excellence in Claims development programme. This is in addition to receiving support in achieving the Chartered Insurance Institute’s (CII) Advanced Diploma in Insurance to become professionally qualified.

Of course, you’ll enjoy our famed level of support and, on top of paid-for qualifications and a huge support network (including a mentor, line manager and buddy), you’ll enjoy some very impressive benefits. We’ll start you off with a competitive salary, group incentives and a contributory pension scheme. Then, as your career really starts to take off, you’ll receive bonuses and BUPA and insurance discounts. In addition to drive and determination to build a challenging, rewarding career, you’ll need to have a minimum of a 2.1 degree in any discipline and at least 300 UCAS points or equivalent.
