Deadline: Ongoing

Working at the heart of business

We work across all industry sectors and government departments, helping our clients improve the way their organisations work by identifying, diagnosing and solving complex business problems. Our consultants act as trusted advisors on some of the most exciting projects around.

Our global reach

Operating as a single business, we harness the diverse perspectives and experiences of our 20,000 advisory professionals in over 140 countries — one of the broadest global advisory networks of any professional organisation – to do so.

Huge variety, and always working closely with clients

Working closely with our clients in integrated teams, we bring our individual strengths and experience together to drive sustainable improvements in business performance. Advisory is comprised of our Performance Improvement (PI), Risk and IT Risk, Assurance and Actuarial businesses. There’s huge variety in what you’ll do each day — and where. Operating in tight-knit teams means you’ll play an important role right from the beginning. You’ll need to think quickly, act creatively, and not be afraid to challenge accepted wisdom. Having an entrepreneurial and ambitious nature is a good start, but you’ll also need confidence, commercial acumen and an analytical mind. If this sounds like you, come and help us shape the future of our growing business and you’ll have more than enough opportunity to drive your own career forward in the process.

We offer a number of programmes. Depending on which area of Advisory you choose, you could be helping clients improve their end to end business performance and risk management or advising them on IT optimisation and controls. Whichever Advisory programme you join, you’ll learn the basics of business from the ground up and focus on the areas you’re most interested in. At each stage, you’ll gain more training, better understanding and the confidence to take you to the next level.

Academic requirements

The qualifications we usually expect for entry to our Advisory programmes are:

  • Grade B or above for GCSE Mathematics and English Language
  • The number of UCAS points, or equivalent, required vary based on the Advisory programme you apply to. Please see the website for further details
  • 2.1 honours degree in any Discipline
