Department Overview
Marketing and Analysis is a unique department that seeks to set strategic business direction through combing strategic, traditional marketing and statistical techniques into making integrated decisions. As a graduate here you will be focusing on driving both product innovation and business strategy. You’re likely to be involved in a whole range of activities – from assessing product profitability to TV and internet marketing campaigns. You might perform market analysis or learn how we use advanced statistics techniques to understand consumers better.
Alternatively, you could be part of a Business Analyst group outside of Marketing and Analysis looking at long-term strategies for the business or involved in our operational side, understanding how the business works and how we can improve our processes.
The Business Analyst Role
Business analysts are thinkers and strategists. Your role will be to identify ways to optimise our business and come up with ideas that’ll shape the future our industry. To do that, you’ll have access to in-depth information about customer behaviour, and support from some of the brightest senior people in the industry.

- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong communication, presentation & influencing skills
- Ability to identify, quantify and assess viability of new opportunities
- Ability to take ownership and solve problems autonomously
- Have good attention to detail
- Have a strong ability to manage own time effectively and be a self-starter who is able to work with minimal supervision
- Engage in individual, team and department challenges
- Understanding of credit card economics or financial services desirable
- Experience of credit policy, targeting or product strategy may be an advantage
Salary & Benefits
Starting base salary £32,000 based in our Nottingham office.

Qualifications
- Degree qualified in a numerate or scientific subject (min of a 2:1 preferred)
- Maths A-level (grade A preferred)
