At Kantar Worldpanel our business is consumers and shoppers. We are the world’s leading provider of continuous, syndicated consumer panels and market research solutions into shoppers’ purchase and usage behaviour. With a panel of 30,000 UK households we provide insight and advanced analytics like no one else.

Major retailers, manufacturers and city clients know how valuable our knowledge can be – because we’ve already helped hundreds of them to better understand their shoppers’ needs and grow their business. To develop our business leaders of tomorrow, we’re looking for top class graduates who are inquisitive, creative, passionate and driven for commercial success.

Our offices are simply bursting with some of the brightest, most passionate and experienced people in the industry. People who have a point of view and aren’t afraid to voice it. To ensure we consistently deliver high definition inspiration, we continuously invest in our people. This includes excellent training programmes that nurture and support talent. And you don’t need to take our word for it – 2011 has seen Kantar Worldpanel listed as one of The Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For.

Our Expert Services teams are responsible for developing and providing our high-end consulting capabilities, delivering ad-hoc and bespoke solutions to our FMCG clients. We help take the guesswork out of key business development and marketing decisions by providing our clients with an advanced understanding of the UK consumers their brands interact with each day. Delivering top end data analysis, industry expertise, and creative insight, we paint the clearest possible picture for our clients, with readily actionable recommendations, opening up creative possibilities for their brands.

Joining as a Graduate in Expert Services you will have the opportunity to develop your analytical and insight skills to an industry leading level.  Typical analysis work could include consumer segmentations, promotional analysis and product ranging amongst many more.  You could be working on decision hierarchies i.e. exploring the factors UK consumers consider when making their purchase decisions and how brands can influence them by giving them the best product mix to choose from, using our Shopper and Retail tools or helping improve our clients’ category management by understanding the reasons behind a shopping trip and what is being bought.

You

You’re clever (see below) and a bit of a marvel when it comes to numbers and statistics, but you don’t live behind a computer all the time.  In fact you’re pretty savvy when it comes to understanding the world around you, particularly when it comes to how important your skills could be in a commercial environment.

You have an amazingly curious nature, always wanting to dig beneath the obvious to find out why things are the way they are.  You’re not satisfied with the obvious answers, but don’t just investigate things for the sake of it – there has to be a real benefit of doing so (for us it’s how commercially valuable the answers can be).

Ideal candidates will possess a 2.1 or above in a numerical/scientific discipline, at least 300 UCAS points and GCSE, or equivalent, Maths & English at a minimum grade B.  You need to be numerate, with the ability to analyse problems constructively, think clearly under pressure and demonstrate good inter-personal skills. Working as part of a team, building rapport with clients and having the confidence to use your initiative are the skills we require.

All applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process.

Applications for our Autumn 2012 intake has now closed. However, you can submit a speculative application for any future openings.
