Nevertheless the situation is gradually changing as companies recognise the need to attract graduates and the number of specialist degree courses continues to increase. Generally, graduates of all disciplines can apply to training schemes, with those who have done particularly relevant courses, such as sports science or business studies, likely to have an advantage.
