Degree subject is of little importance, as it is personal qualities such as self-motivation, confidence, and good organisational and interpersonal skills, which are most important, although graduates in specialist areas (eg. Law or IT) are likely to have an advantage. Any sales experience, or general experience in the market into which you will be recruiting, will help your application stand out.
