More than 10 percent of this year’s graduate face the prospect of being unemployed in six months time.The Guardian reports up to 40,000 of the 300,000 graduates this summer are likely to be looking for jobs at Christmas due to the scale of the recession.This will be double the number of new graduates unemployed at the end of last year.Those graduates out of work will create a spike in jobless figures and has already seen a demand on the resources available at university careers services.
