In this year’s graduate jobs market, one thing is certain: competition will be fierce. There are some signs of recovery, such as an upturn in the number of places on graduate development schemes run by the big employers, but recruitment to most sectors has not yet returned to prerecession levels. Add the fact that many of last year’s graduates are still in the jobs market and it is clear that finding employment will not be easy.
