Restaurant chain Nandos has topped The Sunday Times 25 Best Big Companies to Work For, going straight in at number one.

It finished ahead of Milkround.com client Goldman Sachs as the financial services firm entered the top 25 for the first time. Goldman Sachs is one of 15 Milkround.com clients in the top 25, with six in the top 10.

HR director of Nandos, Julia Claydon, told Times Online: “"The principle philosophy is creating a different kind of place to work. We wanted people to enjoy their jobs and it has been that way from the beginning. Our managers have the same value sets as our company, we want managers who believe that their restaurant will succeed because they look after their staff."
