Effective communication skills are vital. Strong project management skills are also needed, from design to man management attributes. Outside of this excellent IT skills, knowledge of business processes and an insight into the industry you wish to work in are required.

Marketing Research
You will often be working closely with numbers and will need to have good analytical skills. You will be using IT and specific database software so strong computing skills will be a necessity. There is a great deal of reporting and presenting which means you will need to be a confident talker and have excellent written skills. There are always deadlines to work to within this position and you will be under time constraints and need to be able to manage your time wisely.
