Lidl is a well established international food retailer with more than 9,000 stores trading across Europe. It takes pride in providing top quality products at the lowest possible prices for its customers.

The first Lidl stores opened in 1973 and by the 1980s it was a household name throughout Germany. During the 1990s Lidl began expanding outside Germany and Lidl stores can now be found in nearly every country in Europe.

Lidl was established in the UK in 1994 and has grown consistently since. Today it has over 580 UK stores and has ambitious expansion plans to open more in the future.
