Royal Holloway has unveiled a £150m estate plan that is its most ambitious since the completion of its iconic Founder’s Building in 1881.
The aim is to modernise the facilities with new study, teaching and residential spaces while maintaining the character of one of the UK’s most attractive and historic campuses.
The centrepiece will be a new library and student centre in the heart of campus, set to open in the spring of 2017. Open 24 hours a day, the new building will also house the careers centre and other student services, shops and cafes.
