What’s involved

We have big plans for the future, and as part of our Business Change team you’ll develop an understanding of how we manage an end-to-end project that will deliver tangible business outcomes and positive change for the Society.

Our portfolio of projects helps to shape the Coventry and how it will address the wide range of scenarios that are possible in the future.  During the two year programme you will complete a variety of placements which will include, understanding how we manage and govern the portfolio, business analysis and project management allowing you to fully understand how these teams work together to deliver change. As you progress through the programme you’ll help support the team with:

  • Enhancing the customer experience for our members
  • Driving the delivery of positive business outcomes for the Society
  • Working collaboratively with and influencing stakeholders to achieve successful project delivery
  • Managing and mitigating risks that affect the success of a project

How will you develop?

By creating a programme that offers the chance to learn from some of the most experienced people in the industry, with continuous feedback and mentoring, we feel we can really help you develop and grow your career. You’ll also have the opportunity to enhance your core knowledge and skills in areas such as stakeholder engagement, communication and presentation delivery. The experiences and exposure you get will be varied, giving you the chance to use your own initiative but also work closely with others on numerous group projects.

What we’re looking for

In essence joining the Coventry Building Society’s graduate scheme will give you an outstanding introduction to the Financial Services industry with a business that exists to serve the interests of its members. We choose our staff every bit as carefully as we choose the services we offer our members and so look for people who share our values and our way of working. We are looking for individuals who have recently graduated, have a passion for Financial Services and who have achieved (or are expecting to achieve) a 2:1 or above in any degree subject or a Merit or above in a Masters qualification.
