Trainee/Apprentice supported through professional exams getting exposure, initially, to data analysis, M&A CRM, Insurance & Reinsurance Claims and in due course Finance and Compliance.

As Apprentice/Trainee you

  • Will get exposure to:
    • M&A CRM
    • Claims Management and Data Cleansing
    • Data management
    • Accounting and Management Reporting
  • Will be required to
    • Research MS Office tools and share your knowledge
    • Demonstrate development and progress
    • Sign up to and follow study programmes towards the professional insurance qualification, CII
    • Travel to our overseas offices as required

  • Responsibilities
    • Through the programme you will be given specific tasks which may include:
      • Learning data analysis techniques
      • Becoming familiar with Solvency II and its compliance and reporting requirements
      • Researching losses and claims to ensure compliance with policy wordings
      • Reviewing and reconciling data in support of commutation opportunities
      • Sharing knowledge of Excel data analysis techniques 
  • Entry requirements
    • Ideally good "A" Level grades but more importantly common sense, maturity, and enthusiasm.  Needs to demonstrate comfort and ability with words and numbers - for example analysis of words (English Literature, History, Geography, Law, Psychology); statistical analysis (Geography, Science, Maths, Statistics, Psychology) and communication skills (English, Drama, Foreign Languages)
    • European language skills would be an advantage but are not a pre-requisite
