Junior Contract Compliance Administrator - Edinburgh

Location: Edinburgh (EH3 8BR)
Working Hours: 37 hours between 09.00 - 17.30 Monday to Friday
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: GBP17,000.00 per annum

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to join our team with an international blue-chip company in Edinburgh, working with the Pre-Employment Screening (PES) team. This role will revolve around administrative and compliance processes, and would suit someone with strong organisational skills. We would be looking for a dedicated self-starter who can work effectively on their own and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
The person performing this role has responsibility for the execution and compliance of the PES procedure for various Financial Services customer contracts. This will entail the following:
•Processing the PES checks for every member of staff working on the particular contract. This includes collecting/validating/storing of personal sensitive information.
•Maintaining a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
•Updating and control of customer trackers, ensuring all information is 100% up to date and accurate at all times.
•Using specialised databases to perform credit, criminal and identity checks
•Dealing with staff in sensitive situations (i.e. PES failure)

•Excellent Administration skills - document handling/filing
•Excellent attention to detail
•Good understanding of Excel spreadsheets
•Good communication/inter-personal skills.
•Problem solving - think outside the box.
•Ability to deal with a range of global resources at all levels.
