As Junior Mission Control Engineer you will support the execution of system operations in existing operational programmes, specifically Copernicus Sentinel-3, with a longer term perspective to apply the knowledge and experience to the control operations of the fascinating Jason CS/Copernicus Sentinel 6 Ocean Altimetry mission.

You shall ideally be a recent graduate with skills/experience in each of the following:

  • Up to three years’ work experience, with strong motivation and potential to develop towards full professionalism in the area of mission control operations engineering in an operational 24/7 context;
  • Demonstrated strong aptitude towards problem solving in a technical context, including developing innovative solutions;
  • Demonstrated self-starting behaviours and willingness to accept responsibility for the successful completion of a task;
  • Demonstrated exceptional ability to take on new information and apply it effectively.



To apply you must be a EUMETSAT member state national with a proven knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written. A knowledge of French would be considered advantageous.
