Facilities Graduate Programme
See our Safran corporate film: our employees are in the best position to talk about Safran!
Imagine working for one of the world’s top innovators, a number one in everything from jet engines, landing systems, helicopter flight controls to optronic systems and nacelles.
Imagine the level of engineering expertise you would be surrounded by. Imagine the kind of ground-breaking developments you could be involved in.
Imagine what it would be like not just to build a career with that organisation but to have the opportunity to shape and influence where it goes next.
Join the Safran UK Facilities Graduate Scheme and you don’t have to imagine, the reality will begin.
Safran is a leading international high-technology group, operating worldwide, employing over 66,000 people in 60 countries.
In the UK, Safran offers many opportunities within aerospace for the design, production and maintenance of aircraft landing gear, electrical systems and engine nacelles and plays a significant part in the country’s manufacturing output in this sector.
This two-year programme places you at the heart of our businesses and puts you through a series of intensive placements, one of which is likely to be overseas. These placements are designed to give you maximum exposure to our organisation and help you develop the skills, knowledge and experience you need to progress. Your key job purpose will be to support facilities based projects and site improvement initiatives. You will have exposure to all areas including Capital projects, Maintenance of critical assets, TFM Contracts, Tooling design and support and NC & CAM automation.
Along the way, you’ll have endless opportunities to make an impact, whether you’re working on energy reduction, automation or tooling design. You will gain exposure to various forms of industrial project activity, as well as areas such as maintenance technology and machinery safety and statutory compliance. You can also expect to get involved in ergonomic studies on tooling applications and in CAD factory layout and visual simulations.
To make the most of everything we offer, you must have a desire to learn, a hunger to achieve and a willingness to drive your own career development. We are not just looking for someone to do a day-to-day role. We are looking for someone who goes the extra mile to secure the right results. Someone who can build rapport with people at all levels, all over the world. Someone who relishes new challenges and opportunities to innovate. Someone who can become a professional in their field, or in the future look to lead our organisation to greater success.
If that sounds like you, and you have at least a 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline, then find out more by clicking the apply button below.
