About Square Mile Accounting:
When you partner with Square Mile Accounting, we work together to form a strategic plan to really grow your business and help you reach its full potential. In addition, we also assist you in achieving your business goals by taking away as much of the distracting bookkeeping, payroll and admin as possible.

The role:
You will receive intensive training to introduce you to the world of accounting.

Roles and responsibilities:
• Bookkeeping using market-leading cloud accounting tools
• Working with clients to improve their accounting processes
• Management of client payroll and VAT submissions
• Accounts and corporation tax production work
• Ensuring that data is entered into our system correctly
• Supporting the director with project work and assignments to help make the systems better

Skills required:
• Excellent time keeping
• Keen interest in tech
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Good eye for detail
• Eager to learn

Entry requirements:
• Level 3 qualification (BTEC, NVQ or equivalent)

Included in qualification:
  1. Training on the 18 month Standard Level 3 Assistant Accountant (AAT3) apprenticeship.
  2. Being a WhiteHat apprentice means access to awesome social events, sports teams, insight/career days with other apprentices to grow your network, as well as your own personal Coach who will guide you through the qualification to help you achieve your full potential.
  3. As part of your WhiteHat Apprenticeship, you will have access to our Future Leaders Foundation modules to develop 6 key competencies, underpinned by well-being, self-awareness, motivation, conscientiousness, effectiveness and grit.
What's next:
After your Accounting apprenticeship progress into a full-time role as Junior Finance Assistant, Assistant Accountant, Bookkeeping Assistant, Junior Tax Consultant or Audit Assistant. You can also complete the ACCA qualification into Chartered Accountancy

Working hours: 9am-6pm, Monday to Friday
Salary: £16,000
Apprenticeship duration: 18 months
